 Old Town San Diego is the birthplace of California and is now a State Park where visitors can come and see how former San Diegans established this great city. It is filled with shops and restaurants. Some of the best Mexican food can be found in Old Town. There are many musems the most famous of which is the Whaley House. The Whaley house is known throughout San Diego as a hauted house and is available for touring. Heritage Park showcases victorians that are now bed and breakfasts and restaurants. There are dozens of restaurants to choose from. Some local favorites are Old Town Mexican Cafe, Cafe Cayote and Rockin' Baja Lobster, but you really can't go wrong no matter which restaurant you choose. Old Town San Diego is a lot of fun and a worth a visit when coming to San Diego.
