 San Diego Beaches are plentiful and they are free! Locals take advantage of the warm climate and the beach all year long. You can rent a board and learn how to surf or rent a bike and cruise the boardwalk that runs from Mission Beach through Pacific Beach. Many areas on the beach have fire pits that you can use to have bon fires. There is no alcohol allowed on most local beaches, but there are a few restaurants and bars situated on the beach if you are in need of food or drink. One of the best things to do on a San Diego Beach is to read a good book with your feet in the sand, the feeling of the sun on your skin, hearing the sounds of the pacific ocean.
